Shirley Mae Webre Lanier

Shirley Mae Webre Lanier passed away early Wednesday, December 04, 2024 at the age of 94. She was a 1949 graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs on Saturday, December 7, 2024 beginning at 12:00pm. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm. Burial will follow in Lanier Cemetery. She is survived by her four children; Mike Lanier and wife Gwen, Terry Lanier and wife Becky, Michele Williams, and Tracie Kilpatrick and husband Leeland; seven grandchildren; Lisa Corley, Michael Lanier, Courtney McKay, Jake Lanier, Ty Williams, Sydney Kilpatrick, and Breelyn Kilpatrick; eight great-grandchildren; and three great great-grandchildren. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband Alonzo Samual “Jr.” Lanier, parents Sidney and Mamie Webre, and son-in-law Gary Williams. Pallbearers will be; Michael Lanier, Colton Lanier, Ty Williams, Jake Lanier, Chase Corley, and Bryce Corley. Honorary pallbearers will be; Leeland KilpatrickJeff Corley, and Blake Kilpatrick. She loved to dance, shop, and playing board games with her grandchildren, but  enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her family. She will be missed by all who knew her. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
