Stanley Howard Bishop

Stanley Howard Bishop, a resident of Denham Springs, passed away at his home on April 17, 2026, at the age of 79.

He was born on July 18, 1946, in Minter City to Myrtle Idell Sanders Bishop and Oda Compton Bishop.

Stanley proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps, completing two tours of duty during the Vietnam War. His service reflected the courage, dedication, and patriotism he carried throughout his life.

Following his military service, Stanley built a long and respected career with Dow Chemical in Plaquemine, where he worked faithfully until his retirement.

Stanley is survived by his children, Brian David Bishop (Jessica) and Jennifer Eilleen McLean (Ty) step-children; Mary Elizabeth Chatelain, and Paula Maureen Aucoin; 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 1 sister; and 2 brothers.

Stanley is preceded in death by his wife, Helen Marie Bishop; his parents; son, Hubert Michael Aucoin IV; and 4 siblings.
