Steven Wayne Morris

Steven Wayne Morris, 58, passed away Friday, June 20, 2025 at his home in Denham Springs, Louisiana. Steven worked for many years as a sheetrock finisher. He loved to be outdoors, especially fishing with his wife. But his true passion was his family, always looking to take care of and be with his grandchildren. Steven was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend and he will be missed dearly by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arnett and Barbara Morris; and two brothers, Ronald “Bull” Morris and infant brother, Tony Morris.

He is survived by is loving wife of 39 years, Marilyn Harris Morris; children and their spouses, Steven Morris (Tara), Ashley Ravencraft (Matthew), and Matthew Morris (Greenlee); grandchildren, Remmington Ravencraft, Hunter Ravencraft, Raelynn Ravencraft, Berkleigh Coleman, Hayden Morris, and Adalynn Morris; brothers, Tim, Chris, Danny “Tuck”, Ben, and Don Morris; sisters, Linda Turner and Wanda Ogden; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, Thursday, June 26, from 9 a.m. until service at 11 a.m., officiated by Rev. Keith McAllister. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to help with expenses.
