Susan Mcalister

Susan Chevalier McAlister, 65 years old, passed away on November 20, 2024 at her residence. She was born on March 9, 1959 in Winnsboro, Louisiana. Susan enjoyed watching Nascar Racing and LSU sports. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Susan is survived by her fiancé’, Phillip Ortego; daughters, Monica Padayao, Michelle Chapman, and Rebecca Comstock; grandchildren, Taylor Payne, Marlee Padayao, Bella Chapman, Julianna Chapman, Nathaniel Cole, Blaine Cole, and her Comstock grandchildren; sister, Brenda Williams; nephews and nieces, Heather Cole, Alisha O’Daniel, Alison Waldroup, Karrah Waldroup, Mitchell Waldroup, and Russell Waldroup; best friend, Mary Shaw; and her in laws, Steven Cole, Jennifer Allison, and Mitchell Padayoa.

Susan is preceded in death by Emma Chevalier, Ernest Chevalier, and Glen Chevalier.

Serving as pallbearers will be Mitchell Waldroup, Steven Cole, Nathaniel Cole, and Blaine Cole.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family at Seale Funeral Service in Denham Springs on Monday, November 25, 2024 for a visitation starting at 10:00 AM until the funeral service at 12:00 PM. Graveside service to be held immediately following at Denham Springs Memorial Cemetery.
