Susan R. Vollenweider, a resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, passed away on May 1, 2026, at the age of 70. Susan was born on May 27, 1955, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Susan was a college graduate and devoted her life to caring for others as a Registered Nurse. She found joy in reading, listening to podcasts, watching her hummingbirds, and most importantly, loving Jesus.

She is survived by her daughter, Theresa Vollenweider; sons, Christopher Vollenweider and Peter Vollenweider; and her grandchildren, Lathon, Jase, Kade, Carter, Christian, Connor, and Mason.

She is also survived by her brothers, Steve Raymond, Matt Raymond, Mike Raymond, Jeff Raymond, and Patrick Raymond; as well as other family and friends including Anna Martin Vollenweider, Mina Raymond, Sonya Raymond, and Sandy Raymond.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Theresa Raymond, and her brother, Timothy Raymond.
