Listen to Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Taryn Gay “Cissy” Gremillion. She was born to H.E. “Pete” Gremillion and Gay Miller Gremillion on October 31, 1957, and supported and encouraged by Janice Spring Gremillion starting out Cissy’s young adult life. Cissy was a hard worker with an affinity for animals, especially her 4-legged babies, including Riley. She started as a zoo keeper and has also worked with BRPD, security, and PI work. Her matriarch spirit drove her to always look after her siblings, nieces, and nephews. On her days off, she enjoyed sunshine, the casino atmosphere, and a beer. Cissy was a ray of light in the life of those that had the privilege to know and love her, and she will be dearly missed.

Those welcoming her home and celebrating with her are Gay Miller Gremillion, H.E. “Pete” Gremillion, Janice Spring Gremillion, Staci Kathryn Gremillion, Stephanie Elena Gremillion, Larry James Gremillion, Christian Wayne Gremillion, and Cody Allen Waymack.

She is survived by her partner and best friend for over 30+ years Carol Guzzardo, sisters Shari Lyn Gremillion and Michelle Gremillion Norwood (Ronnie), brother Stephen Blair Gremillion, nieces Allison Gay Waymack (Joe), Alicia Jean Russell, Katelyn Gremillion May (TeWayne), Meghan Leigh Gremillion, Berkeley Spring Baudouin, nephews Benjamin John “B.J.” Gremillion and Timothy James Gremillion, and many great-nieces and great-nephews.

A special thank you to a very special family friend Carol Keith for her love and care.
