Terresa “Sparrow” Joyce Stafford, resident of Saint Amant, passed at the age of 71 on August 27, 2026. She was born in Moncks Corner, South Carolina to her parents Edward Zernie Driggers and Betty Joy Mobley on November 20, 1954. Terressa worked as a bus driver for the Ascension Parish school district for many years. Devout in her faith, she was also a member of Higher Destiny Church in Denham Springs. Terresa was an avid Harley Davidson fan as well as being a member of the Harley Owners Group, and enjoyed hitting the road to ride motorcycles whenever she could. In her free-time, she enjoyed sewing as well. More than anything, Terresa loved her grandbabies and dedicated her life to spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed by those that had the privilege to know and love her. She is survived by sons Gregory A. Constant, Jr. (Chelsea) and Christopher Stafford, grandchildren Claire Constant and Rebecca Constant, sister Janice Teater, brothers Michael Driggers, Chet Watts, and Lawrence Teater, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in passing by parents Edward Zernie Driggers and Betty Joy Mobley, step-father Frank Teater, and grandmother Myrtle Sullivan.
There will be a visitation held at Higher Destiny Church in Denham Springs (600 Florida Ave SW, Denham Springs, LA 70726) on Saturday, September 5, 2026 from 11:00am to 12:00pm with a memorial service starting at 12:00pm.
