Thomas "Micky" Murray

Thomas Michael “Micky” Murray, 79, slipped peacefully from this life at his home on November 14, 2025. He was born on May 23, 1946, to Emmett and Daisy Murray.

Micky lived a life full of curiosity, adventure, and love. He enjoyed traveling and discovering new places, savoring good food, and diving into countless how-to videos on YouTube. Above all, he cherished spending time with his family and friends. His bright smile, easy conversation, and genuine interest in others made every moment with him memorable.

Micky is survived by his wife of 22 years, Carla Jean Holmes Murray; children, Christa (Alvin) Fairburn, Ginger (Sean) Erp, Ash-leigh (Omar) Garcia, and Jonathan (Kelly) Bankston; grandchildren, Kelly (Luke) Richards, Sean Michael (Lauren) Erp, Tyren Fairburn, Cody Fairburn, Jessica (Kaleb) Carlin, A.J. Calais, Ana-Grace Garcia, Easton Garcia, Grant Bankston, Carter Bankston, and Everett Bankston; great grandchildren, Conner Fairburn, Morgan Erp, McKenzie “Micky” Richards, Cassius Fairburn, Izabella Deshotel, Theo, Evie and Gideon Carlin; sisters, Esther Ricks, Pat McCoy, Margaret Boyd, and Mary (Gerald) Hughes; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Micky is preceded in death by his parents, Emmett and Daisy Murray; brothers, Robert Murray, and John Murray; and sister, Mildred Pickell.

Pallbearers will be Conner Fairburn, A.J. Calais, Easton Garcia, Grant Bankston, Carter Bankston, and Everett Bankston.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at Seale Funeral Home, 1720 S. Range Ave, Denham Springs, Louisiana for a visitation starting at 11:00 AM until the funeral service at 1:00 PM, conducted by Sean Michael Erp. Graveside service will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
