Thomas Frederick Wenger, 75, of Ponchatoula , LA retired Electrical Engineer and Director of Facilities passed away on October 25, 2023 holding the love of his life’s hand.

Born to Fred Y Wenger and Helen Jane Shellenberger in Wooster, Ohio on August 22, 1948.

Survived by his wife Debra, his brother Mike (Joyce) Wenger, his son James (Tammy) Wenger, daughters Sharon Wenger and Cassie (Gustavo) Vargas. Grandchildren Pierce, Lindsay (Cody), Ryan, Kylian and great-grandchildren Carter and Walker.

Tom was a proud kilt wearing, long standing, officer and member of Clan Maclaine of Lochbuie.

He was a master griller, skilled woodworker building tables, benches and mirrors as well as a part time Santa Claus reenactor dressing up for parties and toy making.

He was an avid admirer of scotch, the 49ers, community theater (Swamplight), his neighbors, his family and especially his wife. His unique humor was appreciated by many and his goodness as a human will be missed by all.

A celebration of life will be Tuesday, November 14th at 6pm at The Oaks Pin Oak room 18444 LA-22, Ponchatoula, LA 70454.
