Timothy Jed
Cole
Nov 16, 1962 — Sep 21, 2026
Denham Springs, Louisiana
Timothy Jed Cole, age 63, passed away at Our Lady of the Lake in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on September 21, 2026.
Tim was a true master and jack-of-all-trades. The kind of man who could tackle just about any job that came his way. A skilled craftsman and entrepreneur, he owned his own business and took great pride in the work he could accomplish with his own two hands. Tim was also a graduate of USL, where he earned his degree in architecture.
Outside of work, Tim had a love for anything with a motor and some get-up-and-go. He enjoyed fast cars, motorcycles, and the freedom that came with being behind the wheel. But more than anything, Tim loved his family. His children and grandchildren were a big part of his heart, and the time he spent with them was among the things he treasured most.
Tim was also the kind of friend folks were lucky to have. He had a generous heart and was always willing to lend a hand. He would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it, and along the way, he made many friends who will remember him not only for the things he could fix or build, but for the man he was.
Left to cherish Tim’s memory are his four children, Lisa Hammett (Dewayne), Beth Mullins (Ray), Sara “Lainie” Cole (Justin), and Timothy Cole; his parents, Sue and F.G. Cole; seven grandchildren, Taylor Smith (Braden), Patrick Mullins (Diamond), Haley Hammett, Railynn Mullins, Reyanna Mullins, Aubrey Hammett, and Reiden Mullins; two great-grandchildren, Cole Smith and Clara Smith; two brothers, Darren Cole (Cathy) and Richard Cole; nieces and nephews, Taylor, Rachel, Lance, and Jeremy; along with the many friends he made throughout his life. He will also be missed by his beloved fur baby, Tucker.
Tim was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents.
Though he may no longer be here to share a laugh, lend a helping hand, or enjoy a fast ride, the mark Tim left on the people around him will not soon be forgotten. He lived life in his own way, loved his family fiercely, and never hesitated to help a friend in need. Those who knew him will carry his memory with them for years to come.
Seale Funeral Home has been entrusted with final care and arrangements.
Visitation will be held Thursday, September 24, 2026, in the chapel beginning at 11:00 a.m., with funeral services to follow at 1:00 p.m.
