Tina McGonigle

Tina McGonigle, who made the world her stage with a heart full of laughter, passed peacefully on July 19, 2025. Born on May 12, 1972, Tina's life was a masterclass in joy, creativity, and the fine art of spoiling everyone she loved.

Tina, known for her sparkling wit and infectious laughter, spent her days basking in the sunshine by the pool listening to her classic country music. The bigger and crazier the pool party, the happier she would be. She had a knack for crafts, turning ordinary objects into treasures with just a bit of glitter and a whole lot of imagination. Her creations were as colorful and delightful as her personality, each piece a testament to her zest for life.

Family and friends were the cornerstone of Tina's world. She walked through life with the loving memories of her daughter, Taylor McGonigle; her grandmother, Mary Zito, affectionately known as Maw Maw; her Aunt Bobby Prokop; and her father, James McGonigle. They had prepped the stage for Tina's grand entrance into the afterlife, where the applause never ends.

Tina is survived by her mother, Betty Worrell McGonigle and her sisters, Mary Adams Riche (and Hoube) and Karen McGonigle Crombie (and Aaron). Two other very special people to Tina, ‘Rosie’ Rosalie Moak, her great aunt, and ‘Lulu’ Nancy Fresina.

The title of 'Aunt Tina/Nanie/Naners,' was one she held with pride, doting on her nephews Anthony and his wife Cristy, Matthew and Caitlin, and her rambunctious nephews Bailey, Nicholas, and Logan Crombie. Her great-nephews and niece, AJ, Henry, Harrison, and Xelaya, knew her as the queen of fun, the one who never said no to an extra scoop of ice cream or one more splash in the pool.

Tina's legacy is a tapestry of joy, each thread a story, a joke, or a moment of pure happiness. She lived as she loved, with open arms and a ready laugh, never missing a chance to bring a smile to someone's face. Her spirit, as bright and enduring as the stars, will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew her as Unapologetically Tina.
