Veda Claudette Easley

Veda Claudette Easley, 70, passed peacefully through the gates of Heaven on October 19, 2025. She was a loving wife for 43 years. She enjoyed being a mom. Her pride and joy came from her spunky great-grandson.

Claudette was a resident of Baker, Louisiana and native of Holden, Louisiana. She was married to Kenneth Easley and survived by him as well as daughter and son-in-law, Cassaundra and Randall Webre; grandson and wife, Kevin and Shannon Webre; great-grandson, Maverick Webre; sister and brother-in-law, Cala and Earl Bankston; two sisters-in-law, Dot E. White and Ruby E. Zito; numerous nieces and nephews, who all held a special place in her heart.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dallas “Dee” and Cecil Courtney; grandparents, Masonic Henry and Fedilia Neal, and Dallas and Angelina Courtney; and nephew, Jeremy Bankston.

Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Wednesday, October 22, from 9 a.m. until service at 11 a.m., officiated by Rev. Carl Lanclos. Burial will follow at 1 p.m. at Loranger Cemetery, Loranger, Louisiana. Pallbearers will be Randall Webre, Kyle Bankston, Dallas Bankston, Joshua Bankston, Daniel Lanclos, and Joel Lanclos. Honorary pallbearers will be Earl Bankston and Maverick Webre.
