Venita “Irene” Pierre

Venita “Irene” Pierre, age 71, passed away on August 6, 2024. Irene was born in Clinton, LA and worked as a school bus driver.

Irene is survived by her daughter, Monica Dickerson (Wayne); son, Albert Brown (Lanee); grandchildren, Daniel Dickerson (London), Tyler Brown (Katelyn); great grandchildren, Beaudi Dickerson, Lynzlee Brown; brothers, Frank McCauley (Jo Ann), Neal McCauley (Gwen), Mark Holden (Tonya), Murphy Holden (Tina); numerous nieces and nephews.

Irene is preceded in death by her father, Frank McCauley, Sr.; mother, Adelaide Holden; stepfather, Murphy Holden, Sr.; sisters, Melanie Schaffer, Margaret Ann Holden; brother, Murry Ray Holden.

A visitation will be held on Monday, August 12, 2024 from 9:30am-11:00am at Bethany Baptist of Baywood Church. A funeral service will begin at 11:00am. Burial will immediately follow at Baywood Perkins Cemetery.
