Vernon Jeannie McMorris

Vernon “Jeannie” McMorris passed away on Thursday, September 18th at the age of 80 years. She was born in Mandeville, LA on June 16, 1945.

She is survived by her son, James H. McMorris, Jr. and wife Brenda McMorris, son David and wife Crystal Quave, son, Dean Quave, and daughter, Christa McMorris. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Brandon and Allie Quave, Blake Quave, Kayleigh Quave, Michael Michelli, Jennifer and Stephen Kerry, Brandi and Chris Hawkins, Jamie and Brooke McMorris and Melanie and Bobby Leboeuf, great grandchildren Braxton Kerry, JoJo Hawkins, Carter Hawkins, Cason Quave, Khali Miller, Hayden Michelli, Grayson Michelli and Cameron Langlois, as well as her brother, Donald Strain.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Porter and Annie Strain, husband, James H. McMorris, Sr., and son Melvin R. Quave, Jr., and Kristy Quave.
