Violet Lorraine Allen Farrow, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister passed away on June 29, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. Violet was born on September 6, 1940 in Jena, Louisiana to Minnie Hudnell Allen and “A.R.” Ross Allen. She was a long-time member of First Pentecostal Church of Denham Springs where she was a greeter for many years; being the hospitable person she was, she loved to cook and host numerous church functions. She was the sales manager for Industrial Fabrics for over 30 years.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Jerry Rhea Farrow; daughter, Donia Rhea Farrow Gillespie (Mark); grandchildren, Hollie E. Gillespie (Will Higginbotham) and Ross W. Gillespie; great grandchildren; Sage Spillman and Madden Higginbotham; brother, Alvin Allen (Rose); nephews, Kenneth Allen (Connie), Curtis Ainsworth (Christy), Joseph Brett Farrow (Tammy); nieces, Judy Lester and Vicki Pilot; and daughters who she raised as her own, Amber Lee (Jeremy) and Michelle Chenevert Morgan.

Violet is preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Shirley Allen Ainsworth (Hayden).

Pallbearers will be Grant Griffin, Will Higginbotham, Brett Farrow, Anthony Butler, Curt Ainsworth, Ross Gillespie, and Halen Morgan.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs on Thursday, July 3, 2025 for a visitation starting at 9:00 AM until the funeral service at 11:00 AM conducted by Bro. Billy Johnson. Graveside service will follow at Evergreen Mausoleum.
