Wanda Aucoin

Wanda Aucoin, age 78, of Denham Springs, Louisiana, passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2026. She was born on Thursday, February 19, 1948, in Pineville, Louisiana.

She is survived by her daughter, Tonya Marie; grandchildren, Richard Taylor Jr., Tosha Cooper, Matthew Taylor, Bradley Taylor, and Hanna Brooks; and 14 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mildred Cooper; her son, Richard Taylor Sr.; and her daughter, Yvette Taylor.

Wanda’s faith was the center of her life, and she found purpose through reading her bible every chance she got. She was a devoted homemaker who cared for her family and created a safe and loving home. She lived with quiet grace and unwavering devotion to her heavenly father, inspiring those around her through her strong belief in God.

She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, faithful heart, and the love she shared with family and friends.
