Willie Mae Freneaux

Willie Mae Freneaux, resident of Baton Rouge, passed at the age of 88 on January 21, 2026. She was born in Texas City, Texas to her parents Alex and Nora Kimble Ellerbee on July 14, 1937. She loved to spend her time in the garden working with her plants and was happiest when travelling. Willie will be deeply missed by all those that had the privilege to know and love her.

She is survived by her daughter Shannon Freneaux Foster (Tom), grandchildren Joshua Lee Freneaux and Claire Ashley Garrett, great-grandchild John Carter Aucoin, nephew Beau Ellerbee (Megan), great-nephew Andrew Ellerbee, and numerous other nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in passing by her spouse of 57 years Ronald Dean Freneaux, parents Bill Ellerbee and Nora Kimble Finley, son Ronald Lane Freneaux, sister Clara Dodson, and brother Gene Ellerbee.

Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs, Louisiana on Wednesday, January 28, 2026 from 10:00am to 11:00am with a funeral service starting at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Baker, Louisiana.
