Zoa Nelson Bain

Zoa Nelson Bain passed away at the age of 83 on July 28, 2024. She was born in Afognak, Alaska on April 2, 1941. Zoa worked Administration in the Department of Education. She adored spending time with her family and dedicating herself to them.

She is survived by daughters Nicole (Nikki) Bain Collins and Rhonda Bain Charleville, grandchildren Cody Collins (Brittany), Anna Collins, Grace Charleville, and Julia Charleville, great-grandchildren Emerson Rose Schulz and Jackson Collins (due in October), brother Nicholas Nelson, and nephew Nicholas Nelson Jr.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jessie Nelson and John Gregorioff, brother Nicholas Nelson Sr. and former husband Roy C Bain Jr.

Pallbearers are Johnny Collins, Steve Charleville, Cody Collins, and Charlie Pavone.

There will be a visitation held at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs on Thursday, August 1 from 9:00am to 11:00am with a service starting at 11:00 and a burial at Evergreen Memorial Park to follow.
